This page explains how members can register to log into the website

Account creation

Once you are an OWLS member you will want to create a website account to enable you to gain access to the OWLS website. Click on the Sign up link in the OWLS Login block, to the right, to sign up for an account. Your Username must be made up from your first (or known) name and your surname, joined and in lower case letters. For example Fred Smith must register as fredsmith or Chalkey White as chalkeywhite. Any deviation from this format will result in the account creation being rejected. You will also have to provide an active email address that you use. Enter your details and click on the register button. Your registration details will then be sent to the email address you entered and you must activate the creation of account by clicking on the link in the email sent to you. The activation will be sent to the administrator who will confirm the account creation. When your membership of the OWLS and your username format has been confirmed you will be sent an email that your account has been approved and you will be able to log in.

Logging in

Once you’ve had your account creation confirmed, you will be able to log in to the OWLS website by entering your Username and Password in the OWLS Login block, to the right. Once logged-in you will be able to view the site content and find out what’s going on within the Club. In your account area you will be able to update your details and change your password. To maintain the web site’s security it’s good practice that you log out when leaving the site.

Any suggestions for changes to the website, which could provide better information or communication between members and the Club are welcome. Please don’t hesitate to pass on your views and ideas on the content so that we can provide a better service.
